NFL Cougar Roundup, 11/28

WEEK TWELVE OF the NFL season had a definite Crimson vs. Gray theme to it with one such battle of brothers potentially sidelining a Coug for the remainder of the year. Find out the details of that and how all the NFL Cougars did in our weekly roundup.

Drew Bledsoe, QB, Buffalo: Completed 25 of 37 passes for 275 yards and one touchdown. Also threw three interceptions, but it mattered little as the Bills spanked the Seahawks, 38-9.

Erik Coleman, S, New York Jets: Tallied four solo tackles in 13-3 win over Arizona.

Devard Darling, WR, Baltimore: Did not play: Injured reserve (heel); out for remainder of season.

James Darling, LB, Arizona: Made eight tackles and assisted with another in 13-3 loss to Jets.

Jason David, CB, Indianapolis: Recorded five solo stops, defensed one pass, and returned two punts for five yards in Indy's 41-9 Thanksgiving day win against Detroit.

Mark Fields, LB, Carolina: Notched two solo stops, one pass defense, and recovered a fumble in 21-14 win against Bucs..

Steve Gleason, S, New Orleans: No stats from 24-21 loss to Falcons. Was listed as questionable with hamstring injury coming into the game, but did not appear on Saints' pregame inactive list.

Jason Hanson, K, Detroit: Connected on three of four field goal attempts—good from 20,22, and 34 yards; missing from 48—in Lions' 41-9 fall to Indy on Thanksgiving.

Joey Hollenbeck, C, Seattle: Did not play: Practice squad.

Rian Lindell, K, Buffalo: Another perfect kicking day, as he hit on all five extra-point attempts and his lone field goal attempt (from 25 yards). Also recovered his own onside kick in 38-9 defeat of Seattle.

Rien Long, DT, Tennessee: No stats from 31-21 fall to Texans. May be out for a few weeks due to an MCL sprain.

Rob Meier, DE, Jacksonville: No stats from 27-16 loss to Minnesota. May have broken his leg on a block by Viking center--and former Cougar teammate-- Cory Withrow.

Raonall Smith, LB, Minnesota: Did not play: Out for the fourth straight week due to a pair of concussions suffered earlier this season; continues to be evaluated by specialists. Will practice this week, but not likely to play next weekend.

Robbie Tobeck, C, Seattle: Started in Hawks' 38-9 fall to Buffalo.

Marcus Trufant, CB, Seattle: Made six solo stops and one pass defense in 38-9 loss to Bills.
