RECRUITING: Kevin Garrett back from WSU trip

Kevin Garrett tripped to Washington State this past weekend, the recent verbal to Oregon just wanting to be sure of his choice to play for the Ducks. Now back from Pullman, Garrett talked about the visit and where he stands on his recruitment.

When he verbally committed to Oregon a little over two weeks ago, Kevin Garrett had a visit planned to Washington State and he decided to keep the appointment.

The safety/linebacker prospect very much enjoyed his visit to the Palouse, and it will likely be his final official visit, but he is still committed to Oregon.

"The trip went really well," said Garrett. "I was impressed."

"But I think I might, you know... I probably won't change my mind on my commit to Oregon. I was just making sure."

"Don't get me wrong or anything, Washington State has great facilities, everything is local around the town and I liked that a lot. Plus the team is always around -- I mean everywhere you go you see about three or four football players together. You can really tell they're a close knit family."

Garrett went on to summarize by saying while he had a great visit to Washington State, he also feels confident that Oregon will be his choice coming Signing Day.
