Three WSU Football Players Ruled Ineligible

WASHINGTON STATE SPORTS INFORMATION said Thursday evening University officials have confirmed that three members of the Cougar football team last fall have rendered themselves academically ineligible, per NCAA and WSU requirements.

The three who are not enrolled for spring semester are running back DeMaundray Woolridge, cornerback Courtney Williams and quarterback Arkelon Hall.

Woolridge, from Keller, Texas, and Williams, from Los Angeles, have each seen action the past two seasons. Woolridge rushed for 339 yards on 78 carries while Williams played in eight games, primarily on special teams, and had four tackles.

Hall, from Fresno, Calif., redshirted his first year at WSU and did not play this past season while recovering from a leg injury.

School officials would not speculate on the future of the three students.
