NFL Cougar Highlights: Week 15

CARDINALS TIGHT END Troy Bienemann—already winning the hearts of Arizona fans with his off-field heroics—scored his first professional touchdown on Sunday, while his Washington State Rose Bowl teammate, Seattle's Marcus Trufant, was voted to a starting cornerback slot on the NFC's Pro Bowl roster.

Here's how all of the NFL Cougars performed in week 15:

Hamza Abdullah, DB, Denver, 3rd season : Posted six tackles (4 solo; 2 assists)in Mile High's 31-13 loss to Houston on Thursday.

Calvin Armstrong, OT, free agent, 3rd season : Did not play; no longer listed on the Redskins' practice squad.

Kyle Basler, P, Cleveland, 1st season: Did not play; on non-injury reserve.

Troy Bienemann, TE, Arizona, 1st season: Caught his first NFL touchdown pass—from 1 yard out—in Cardinals' 31-24 fall to New Orleans. Quickly becoming a fan favorite in Phoenix for his hustle on the gridiron and his participation in virtually all Cardinal charitable events.

Cody Boyd, TE, Washington, rookie : Did not play; assigned to practice squad.

Tyron Brackenridge, CB, Kansas City, rookie : Did not play; declared inactive due to knee injury.

Mkristo Bruce, DE, Oakland, rookie: Did not play; assigned to practice squad .

Erik Coleman, S, New York Jets, 4th season : No stats from Jets' loss to New England.

Omowale Dada, CB, Seattle, 1st season: Did not play; assigned to practice squad.

Devard Darling, WR, Baltimore, 4th season : Led the Ravens with four receptions for 56 yards in OT loss to Miami.

James Darling, LB, free agent, 11th season: Did not play; status unknown.

Jason David, DB, New Orleans, 4th season: Tallied five solo stops and assisted on another in Big Easy's 31-24 defeat of the Cardinals.

Steve Dildine, LB, San Francisco, rookie: Did not play; assigned to practice squad.

Eric Frampton, S, Minnesota, rookie : Notched three special teams tackles in Vikings' Monday night defeat of Chicago.

Steve Gleason, DB, New Orleans, 8th season: Out for season on injured reserve.

Jason Hanson, K, Detroit, 16th season : Good on both extra point attempts in Motor City's 51-14 ass-waxing by San Diego.

Jerome Harrison, RB, Cleveland, 2nd season : No carries in Browns' 8-0 win against Buffalo.

Jason Hill, WR, San Francisco, rookie: No catches in 49ers' 20-13 victory against Cincy.

Rian Lindell, K, Buffalo, 8th season : No attempts in Bills' 8-0 loss to Cleveland. After the opening kickoff, Lindell never saw the field again.

Rien Long, DT, free agent, 5th season: Status unknown; has worked out recently with two NFL clubs. Rated by one "insider" as the fourth best available free agent defensive tackle.

Rob Meier, DE/DT, Jacksonville, 8th season : Assisted on one tackle in Jags' 29-22 win against Steelers.

Karl Paymah, CB, Denver, 3rd season : Made one special teams tackle in Broncs' loss.

Raonall Smith, LB, St. Louis, 6th season : Did not play; out for the season on injured reserve.

Pro Bowl bound Marcus Trufant

Lamont Thompson, DB, Jacksonville, 6th season: Seeing his first action with the Jags, recorded one special teams tackle in win over Pittsburgh.

Marcus Trufant, DB, Seattle, 5th season : Led Hawks with nine solo tackles in 13-10 loss to Carolina. The Tacoma native was named a starting cornerback of the NFC's Pro Bowl roster. Through 14 games this season, he has tallied 77 tackles (70 solo), 15 pass defenses, and 7 interceptions.

Cory Withrow, C/G, San Diego, 9th season : No stats from Chargers' 51-14 defeat of the Lions.
