Cougar commit talks trip, WSU

A DENVER NEWSPAPER reported on Sunday that one of the Cougar verbals was in Fort Collins this past weekend to take a look at CSU. The 3-star Wazzu pledge, who has rushed for 1,675 ground yards this season, talks recruiting, the Cougars and more.

Arthur Burns, (5-11, 212, 4.46)

Thoughts on his visit to Colorado State which was reported by the Denver Post:
"It was pretty cool and I liked it, but it wasn't like Washington State. But it was still cool," said Burns.

On if the trip to CSU means he's opening things back up:
"Things haven't changed...I'm still where I am. I feel like Washington State--I'm still going to be a Coug," said Burns, who verballed to WSU about two weeks ago.

Additional visits planned?
Burns said he had no other trips planned.

What's next:
Burns racked up 144 yards and four touchdowns in nationally ranked Centennial High of Corona's 38-17 win over Murrieta Valley this weekend. Burns and Centennial next play in the Inland Section Division II championship game Centennial has a perfect 13-0 mark on the season.

Season stat line:
Burns has rushed for 1,675 yards on 248 carries with 27 touchdowns this season.

"I'm still a Coug," said Burns.
