NFL Cougar Highlights: Week Three

JASON HANSON'S TWO field goals were the difference makers in Detroit's first victory since 2007, as the Cougar great and his Lion teammates defeated the Washington Redskins, 19-14, today.

Devard Darling, WR, Kansas City, 6th season: Did not play; out for the season with a knee injury.

Eric Frampton, S, Minnesota, 3nd season: No stats from week three win against 49ers.

Devin Frischknecht, TE, Green Bay, rookie : Did not play; on injured reserve (knee).

Brandon Gibson, WR, Philadelphia, rookie: No stats from Eagles' win against Kansas City.

Jason Hanson, K, Detroit, 18th season: The pride of Mead High School helped the Lions end a 19 game losing streak with his true aim on one PAT and 2 field goals ( from 39 and 26) in Motor City's 19-14 defeat of Washington.

Jerome Harrison, RB, Cleveland, 4th season: Seeing his first action of the season, The Ghost ran for 52 yards on 16 carries and caught 5 for another 33 in the Browns loss to Baltimore.

Jason Hill, WR, San Francisco, 3rd season: Declared inactive for week 3.

Rian Lindell, K, Buffalo, 10th season: The reigning AFC special teams player of the week was true on his lone kicking score—an extra-point—in the Bills' loss to New Orleans.

Rob Meier, DE/DT, Jacksonville, 10th season: Did not play; out for the season with a shoulder injury.

Karl Paymah, CB, Minnesota, 5th season: Posted one special teams tackle in Vikings' win against San Fran.

Ropati Pitoitua, DT, New York Jets, 1st year: Declared inactive for week the third consecutive week.
