Oak Grove (San Jose, Ca.) LB Scott Lawyer The Eagles ran their record to 4-2 with a 23-7 win over Pioneer. Lawyer really filled up the stat sheet, hauling in three receptions for 18 yards on offense and racking up 9 tackles and 2 fumble recoveries, one of which he returned for a touchdown, on the defensive side of the ball.

Season Totals: 40 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 10 QB hurries; 7 rec., 58 yards

Juanita (Kirkland, Wa.) DE/TE Jarett Finau The last two weeks the Rebels have gone 1-1 with a 21-14 loss to Bellevue two weeks ago only to recover with an 18-17 win over Mt. Si last week. Finau's totals for both games combined were 1 reception for 30 yards and 8 tackles including 3 tackles-for-loss.

Season Totals: 26 tackles, 3 tackles-for-loss, 5.5 sacks; 7 rec., 149 yards, 3 TD; 1 blocked punt

Walnut (Ca.) DE/TE Aubrey Coleman In Walnut's 34-7 win over Diamond Bar last week, Coleman had a big game on offense rushing 8 times for 56 yards and hauled in 7 receptions for 51 yards. On defense, Coleman had another good night, posting 6 tackles and his second sack of the season.

Season Totals: 30 tackles, 2 sacks; 26 catches, 455 yards, 2 TD; 34 carries, 166 yards, 1 TD

Dorsey (Los Angeles) QB Joseph Gray Even though he injured his ankle early in the game, Gray still managed to lead Dorsey to a resounding 56-26 win over Locke last week by going 25 of 34 for 418 yards with 7 touchdowns, 6 of which he threw after his injury.

Season totals: 95 of 155 (61.3 %), 1,721 yards, 20 TD and 3 INT; 28 carries for 124 yards and 1 TD

Dorsey (Los Angeles) LB Matthew Lyons In Dorsey's big win last week, Lyons had 8 tackles, 1 forced fumble and 1 sack.

Skyline (Sammamish, Wa.) WR Kasen Williams Williams' only two receptions went for touchdowns of 14 and 85 yards last week in Skyline's 56-3 win over Jackson. The talented athlete also had an interception on defense.

Season totals: 36 receptions, 647 yards, 9 TD; 27 tackles, 2 INT; 1 TD on a punt return

Skyline (Sammamish, Wa.) DE/TE Connor Cree The Spartan starters only played two quarters of Skyline's 56-3 trouncing of Jackson last week. Cree was solid though, posting 5 tackles, 1 sack and 1 forced fumble on the defensive side of the ball.

Season totals: 44.5 tackles, 3 sack, 5 QB pressures, 3 tackle-for-loss, 3 forced fumbles; 2 rec., 33 yards, 1 TD

Gahr (Cerritos, Ca.) WR Josh Perkins Gahr dropped their game to Downey last week losing 42-23 and Perkins was held in check for the most part only hauling in 6 receptions for 87 yards and no touchdowns. The Gladiators are now 3-3 on the season.

Season totals: 46 rec., 743 yards, 8 TD

Archbishop Murphy (Everett, Wa.) DE Taniela Tupou In the Wildcats' 49-0 win over Granite Falls two weeks ago, Tupou had 3 tackles, 1 tackle-for-loss and 1 reception for 42 yards and a touchdown on offense. This past weekend, ATM handed Coupville a 62-0 defeat and Tupou was a monster posting 5 tackles, 2 sacks and 1 tackle-for-loss.

Season Totals: 38 tackles, 11 tackles-for-loss, 9 sacks

Poly (Long Beach, Ca.) CB Kameron Jackson Long Beach Poly had a bye last week.

Season totals: 26 tackles, 17 passes defensed, 4 INT

Pacifica (Garden Grove, Ca.) CB Joel Willis Pacifica had a bye last week.

Season totals: 57 tackles, 2 forced fumbles; 24 rec., 576 yards, 4 TD; 145 yards rushing, 1 TD; 1 punt return for a 75 yard TD.

Next Game: Thursday (10/21) vs. Valencia


Gig Harbor (Wa.) TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins The Tides fell to 5-2 with a 32-12 loss to Olympia last week. In the game, Seferian-Jenkins had 4 catches for 60 yards.

Season Totals: 34 rec., 465 yards, 3 TD; 12 tackles, two passes defensed, including one that resulted in an interception, and 5 sacks.

Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) S Evan Zeger In Bishop Gormans 45-0 pasting of Spring Valley last week, Zeger had a reception on a screen pass that resulted in a 65-yard touchdown on offense and totaled 3 tackles and 1 interception on defense as the starters were pulled partway through the third quarter.

Season totals: 8 rec., 342 yards, 6 TD; 35 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 3 interception; 3 punt returns for 26 yards; 5 kickoff returns for 179 yards, 1 TD

Jordan (Long Beach, Ca.) OL Siosifa Tufunga In the Panthers are at .500 after a solid 42-7 win over Milikan last week. Tufunga and the rest of the Jordan offensive line paved the way for over 450 yards of offense on the night.

Stanwood (Wa.) OL Dexter Charles Stanwood got their first win of the season by beating Snohomish last week 20-15.

Paramount (Ca.) OL/DL Maataua Brown Paramount is now 4-2 after a big 38-14 win over Lynwood last week. The Pirates rolled up over 350 yards of offense last week in their victory and Brown was one of the biggest reasons for their productivity. No defensive stats were available for this game.

Graham-Kapowsin (Graham, Wa.) WR Jamaal Jones Injured (shoulder) and will not play for the Eagles this season.
