"I talked to coach (Demetrice) Martin just a couple of days ago," Peters told "He and I talked about me coming up there for a visit to check them out and meet with the coaches.

"I enjoy talking to him a lot and we've formed a real bond."

Peters has offers from most of the Pac 10 and visited Washington State back in October.

"When I was up there it was a real good time," Peters said. "Rickey Galvin was my host and he showed me a good time.

"I got to sit down with the coaches and talked with coach (Paul) Wulff about things. They said they'd love to bring me in to play corner and be a playmaker.

"They didn't pressure me to commit or anything, but they just stated their case."

Peters said he's been thinking about which schools he wants to visit, but is unsure which four will get his attention after his season is over.

"Right now, I want to get wins and be perfect," Peters said. "We're playing Tech this weekend and that's been my focus.

"I'm probably going to be setting up some visits here pretty soon when I talk to the different coaches," Peters said. "I'm looking at probably visiting Washington, Oregon and maybe Oregon State.

"Honestly, it's something I've thought about, but not that much right now."

Peters has been a stalwart for McClymonds this season, posting 45 tackles and four interceptions while hauling in 50 receptions for 800 yards and 13 touchdowns on offense.

We'll continue to check in with Peters over the next few weeks and update things as they change.
