The UW coaches picked him up at the airport Thursday and it was raining. "It freaked me out a little," he said, but then they lent him a poncho and he was fine after that
Bigelow's host was fellow running back Jesse Callier. "Jesse's a real cool dude," Bigelow said of the UW frosh. "He told me how things work up there, how I would get a shot to play."
The highlight of the trip was the 24-7 win Thursday night by the Huskies over the UCLA Bruins in front of 62,000 fans at Husky Stadium and an ESPN national telecast. "I was surprised with the atmosphere, how cool it was," he said. "I loved the black uniforms. They stomped UCLA."
Bigelow told Dawgman.com that he is visiting Oregon officially this weekend. He is also expected to visit Cal at some point, but he did not give us a date.
So how does this affect his verbal commitment to the Huskies? He committed to them back in January. "I'm still committed to Washington, but I want to make sure," he said.
And if he had to sign a letter of intent today, what would he do? "Man, that's tough," Bigelow added. "I'm not sure."
