Shelton had been a heavy Washington lean since the start of the recruiting process and was close to making his decision before the start of his senior season, however he decided to take some visits and his choice ultimately came down to the Huskies versus the Oregon Ducks.
Shelton's mom, Oneone, confirmed to Condotta that he son had indeed committed to Washington citing the location and the quality of the program.
Shelton becomes the 20th known commitment to Washington's 2011 recruiting class.
We will have more when Shelton speaks to the media about his decision later this evening or over the weekend.
