A's lose thriller

The A's played the still unbeaten Bluejays tough, but lost a thriller in the bottom of the second extra inning Saturday. Chris pitched a masterful first five innings holding the Jays to two runs on three hits while striking out eight.

The A's rallied to tie the score at two in the top of the 4th. Adam and Kyle opened the inning with singles. The bases were then loaded when Chris took one for the team square in the back. Corbin then drove in Adam on a fielders choice forcing Kyle at 3rd.

Then with two outs Beau connected for a double driving in Chris. Matt came in to relieve Chris in the bottom of the 6th and threw two scoreless innings.

The A's took the lead in the top of the 8th. Kyle lead off with a single, then Chris sacrificed him the 2nd. Corbin stepped up and and blasted a single into center scoring Kyle.

The A's were unable to hold on for a win however as the Jays scored twice for the win on a couple of fielding errors by the A's.
