A's shut out Mariners

The A's winning streak reached six as the Mariners were shut out 10-0 Tuesday evening. The A's bats were hot early as they scored six runs in the 1st inning. Adam and Sean combined for a one hit shut out. Adam started the game and allowed just one hit while striking out seven in three innings. Sean pitched the final three innings. He didn't allow a hit and fanned six.

Sean also had a big night at the plate.

He singled in the first inning driving in a run, singled again in the second, then with the bases loaded and two outs in the third he blasted a frozen rope into left for a bases clearing double.

The A's defense played a flawless game that was highlighted by Trevor's over the shoulder catch from the shortstop position of a pop fly to short left that ended the game.
