A's beat Mariners 6-2 for seventh straight

The A's winning streak made it to seven on Thursday night with a 6-2 win over the Mariners. The first two innings of this game were played on opening night of the season back on March 29, but was suspended due to the field lights not turning on.

Chris pitched a solid first two innings allowing just one run.

The A's picked up their first run in the second inning. Adam led off with a single and Sam followed with a walk. Sean then drove in Adam while grounding out to short. A couple pitches later Sam advanced home on a pass ball.

Beau pitched a scoreless 3rd, 4th, and 5th innings and had the Mariners off balance by mixing up his fast ball and a wicked change up. He allowed just one hit and fanned six.

The A's pushed single runs across the plate in the 3rd and 5th innings.

Matt reached first on a fielding error in the 3rd then raced around the bases on wild pitches and pass balls. Matt singled in the 5th, advanced to third on a couple of pass balls, then was driven home by a hard hit ball by Corbin.

Two insurance runs were added in the 6th. With the bases empty and two down, Beau singled and then advanced to third when Trevor doubled. Both speedy runners advanced home on more pass balls.

Matt closed the game, but not before allowing a run on a big hit by his arch rival and good friend, Shayne.
