Sam started on the mound for the A's and set down the side one two three in the first inning. He added a strong second inning that was highlighted by a heads up defensive play by Kyle.
With no out and one run in, and runners

later scored on a ground out to short by Beau.
Beau was called in to pitch the 3rd and held the Dodgers scoreless and hitless

Beau walked to load the bases. Matt cames up and hit a ball just in front of home

The next batter popped out to the pitcher leaving the bases loaded and now two outs.
Kyle stepped to the plate and belted a one hopper that the second baseman was unable
to handle cleanly. That brought in a run and kept the bases loaded.
