Lemke is making the rounds

Issaquah (Wa.) TE Eric Lemke is a player to keep an eye on over the next few weeks. With on offer to his name and more schools keeping their eyes on him, he could be a prospect that starts to see recruiting pick up as the season progresses and one school he's very interested in is Washington...

"I was at Washington last week for the game (against Eastern Washington)," Lemke told Dawgman.com. "I talked a lot with coach (Jeff) Mills and coach (Mike) Cox and just had a great time watching things there.

"I spent a lot of time just watching what they do pre-game and how the coaches coach the players up. It was a lot of fun and the game was close, but Washington ended up winning so it was good all the way around."

Lemke will be in Idaho, the only school to offer him at this point, this weekend to watch the Vandals play North Dakota, but he isn't just going to be there to see his biggest suitor.

"Our quarterback from a few years ago at Issaquah, Joey Bradley, he's playing for North Dakota, so it's a great chance to see him play too," Lemke admitted.

As far as the other schools who have been in contract, Lemke said it's the same handful of Pac 12 schools who have been recruiting him since the spring and they all want the same thing.

"It's basically the same group," Lemke said. "It's UCLA, it's Washington State and Oregon and Oregon State. Boise State a little and Colorado too.

"They all want film from my first two games, so that's something we are putting together and will add to (tonight) and then we'll get it out to them and then we'll see what happens."

Issaquah got off to a great start this season with a 48-0 win over Heritage (Vancouver, Wa.) last week and tonight they will face off against Liberty who lost to Skyline 62-27 last week.
