Arcadia (Ca.) S Taylor Lagace - The Apaches fell for the second time this season as Burroughs (Burbank) ran away in the second half and stunned Arcadia 41-29. Burroughs kicked off short all night and stated that a big reason was to avoid putting the ball in Lagace's hands, however, the senior athlete was able to haul in 16 receptions for 170 yards and posted eight tackles on the night.

Mullen (Denver, Co.) QB Cyler Miles - Mullen downed Chatfield 41-14. Waiting on stats.

Cajon (San Bernardino, Ca.) CB/RB Damontae Kazee - It was homecoming for Cajon last week and they eeked out a 20-16 win over San Gorgonio and Kazee played an integral part posting six catches for 62 yards. Kazee also posted two tackles and three passes defensed.

Season Totals: 343 yards rushing, 4 TDs; 18 rec., 240 yards, 4 TD; 13 tackles, 10 passes defensed.

St. Louis (Honolulu, Hi.) DE Kalei Auelua - Auelua and the rest of the St. Louis starters didn't get a lot of reps in the second half of their 63-0 win over Damien, but while he was in, the Husky commit did have four tackles and two sacks.

Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma, Wa.) WR/DB Michael Rector - Rector had his second-straight game topping the century mark in receiving yards, by hauling in three receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown as the Lions went on the defeat South Kitsap 38-21.

Gahr (Cerritos, Ca.) WR Dwayne Washington The Gladiators blew the doors off of Bell last week, winning 47-7 and Washington had what could be a considered a "ho-hum" night for him posting five receptions for 107 yards and a touchdown.

Muir (Pasadena, Ca.) RB Tairen Owens Muir lost for the second-straight week, falling to Crescenta Valley 27-20, but Owens still put up some impressive stats hauling in four receptions for 88 yards including one he took 66 yards for a touchdown and also carried the ball 13 times for 68 yards.

Season Stats: 305 yards rushing; 11 receptions for 239 yards, 2 TD; 7 punt returns for 169 yards (24 yd. average).

Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, Ca.) DL Jeremy Castro - In Vista Murrieta's 37-0 win over Palisades, Castro again came up big, posting six tackles, two tackles-for-loss and a sack.

Kennedy (Burien, Wa.) S/QB Jason Thompson - Thompson completed 7 of 12 passes for 115 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 40 yards and another score to help Kennedy win its fourth straight game, a 43-7 beat down of Renton. Thompson was also a force on defense, racking up 10 tackles from his safety spot.

Hamilton (Chandler, Az.) WR/RB/DB Kendyl Taylor Taylor continues to be a real leader for the Huskies, posting six receptions for 100 yards including two that went for touchdowns and carrying the ball eight times for 60 more in a 35-10 win over Desert Vista.

Season Totals: 38 carries, 145 yard, 3 TD; 44 rec., 539 yards, 5 TD; 2 kickoff returns for 105 yards; 30 yd average on 2 punt returns.

Mercer Island (Wa.) QB Jeff Lindquist - Lindquist completed 15 of 25 passes for 228 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions while he rushed for approximately 40 more yards and two more scores as the Islanders downed a then-ranked Mt. Si squad 42-14.

Season Totals: 89 of 167 for 1,127 yards, 11 TDs, 6 INT; 83 carries for 503 yards, 11 TDs.

Gig Harbor (Wa.) K/P Korey Durkee - The Tides got their third win in a row, notching a 28-6 win over Central Kitsap. In the game, Durkee didn't get much in the way of work, hitting all four of his extra point tries and kicking off five times with four touchbacks.

Season Stats: 8 for 9 on field goal attempts, long of 52 yards; 44.8 yards per punt; 25 touchbacks on kickoffs.

Tesoro (Las Flores, Ca.) LB Blake Rodgers Because Tesoro blew out Burroughs (Ridgecrest) 49-7, Rodgers, along with the rest of the starters, didn't play much in the second half, but he did manage to post four tackles and short rushing touchdowns to help the Titans get to 4-2.

Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, Ca.) DT Malcolm Jackson The Matadors could do nothing to stop top-ranked Helix last week, falling 49-7. Jackson did what he could, posting four tackles, but was neutralized by Helix's quick-release passing game.

Colony (Ontario, Ca.) CB Bryan Harper Colony had no problems with Don Lugo, winning 27-7 and Harper was a big reason the defense only allowed 200 yards of offense, helping to lock down the opposing wide receivers posting six tackles and one pass defensed.
