A's beat Rockies 17-6

The A's put together a great team performance in beating the Rockies 17-6 Saturday morning. The win improved the A's season record to 13 win and 4 losses.

Sam started on the mound for the A's and allowed just one run on four hits for a great four inning performance.

The A's started their scoring early. In the first inning with two quick outs, Adam walked and then scored on a double hit by Sean. Trevor followed with a single that brought home Sean.

In the second inning the A's scored eleven times. Ten A's batters connected with solid hits. This included run scoring hits by: Benji, Anthony, Trevor, Sam, Matt, Chris, Corbin, and Adam.

Two more runs were added in the third and fourth innings as the bats stayed red hot.

Batters with multiple hits for the game were Trevor who went 4 for 4 that included a double and produced two RBI's. Matt went 3 for 4 with a double and also drove in two. Chris contributed with a 3 for 4 game while driving in two, and Sam knocked in three runs while enjoying a 2 for 4 game at the plate.
