Trip Report - Kendyl Taylor

Washington continues its search for playmakers and Hamilton (Chandler, Az.) ATH Kendyl Taylor was in Seattle over the weekend on his official visit and told he's excited to become a Husky and sign with the Dawgs come February...

"It was a great time for me," Taylor told as he waited for his flight at Sea-Tac Airport. "I'd say the whole time was the highlight of the trip for me.

"Food was good, the game was great, the atmosphere was great, I spent a lot of time with my host, Kasen Williams, and he told me about the transition for him and really, I just enjoyed it all."

Taylor said that while the outcome of the game, a 34-17 loss to Oregon, wasn't ideal, he was impressed with the Husky crowd as well as the effort by the players.

"Win or lose, up big or down big, the crowd up there is really into the game," Taylor noted. "I loved the entire game even though they lost. It was a great atmosphere and I loved every bit of it."

Taylor said he continues to prod teammate Reggie Daniels, but that he won't push him to join him with the Dawgs.

"We are good friends, but he needs to make his own decision," Taylor said. "It would be great to end up playing together another four years, but if it doesn't work out, we'll be fine with our decisions.

"I tell him why I decided to commit and he is definitely high on (Washington)."

Taylor said he has no plans to visit any other schools and said he is not taking part in any other sports, choosing to work out and get ready for the beginning of his college football career next summer.
