Trip Report - Reggie Daniels

One of the top safeties left on Washington's recruiting board is Hamilton (Chandler, Az.) S Reggie Daniels and this weekend, the talented prospect took his official visit to Seattle to see what the Huskies had to offer. He's a man of few words, but he took the time to speak with about things and gave us an idea of where things stand...

"It was a good visit," Daniels said after arriving back in Arizona. "I had a great time meeting the coaches and talking to the players and seeing the school.

"It was good."

Daniels' host was redshirting CB Marcus Peters and he said they spent some time talking about what he could expect if he ends up signing with Washington.

"He said he really likes it there and I felt like it was a good place to get an education and to play ball," Daniels said. "He talked a lot about what it's like to be a player there and all of the resources they have for you to be successful when it comes to your education."

Daniels also enjoyed the atmosphere at the game, a 34-17 loss to Oregon.

"It was loud in there," Daniels said. "I could barely hear the people next to me and my ears were ringing all night.

"They have really good fans there."

Daniels has already visited Oregon and Boise State and said he plans to visit Arkansas and then will decide what he wants to do.

"I'm still thinking about that next visit," Daniels said. "I'm visiting Arkansas for sure, but I'm not sure who I will visit for my last one.

"I may visit ASU or I might not. I haven't decided yet."

Daniels said he plans to make his decision before the holidays, but admitted if he's not ready, he will wait until January before he decides.

We will continue to track Daniels' progress through the recruiting process and will update things as they happen.
