"Back in November, I spoke to coach (Norm) Chow, when he was back at Utah, and he told me they were looking at me to greyshirt and that if I wanted to go somewhere else, where I could get a full-ride, I'd need to decommit and open it back up again," Sai told Dawgman.com recently. "So I opened it up again and I have talked to Hawaii, New Mexico State, Wyoming and Idaho the most.
"Idaho and New Mexico State are the two schools that have offered me now and I have visits set up for them later this month. I might take an unofficial visit to Hawaii this weekend. I'm not sure yet, but I'd like to get up there with my teammate, Keoni Bush-Loo, who is also interested in them, especially now that coach Chow is there."
A school that Sai had some early interest in before committing to the Utes was Washington and he said hes' reached out to the Husky coaches, but so far, hasn't heard much back.
"I called coach (Johnny) Nansen a couple of times a while back, but I haven't heard back from him," Sai said. "I figure they've got all the guys they are looking for, so that's fine. I'm still interested if they are looking at me, but right now I have to focus on the schools that have offered me and that do like me."
Sai told Dawgman.com that he currently tips the scales at 310 pounds and measured in recently at 6'4". He also said he has a max on his bench press of 365 yards and a 415-pound squat.
"I like to play physical and get after people," Sai said. "Most schools have told me inside somewhere, either guard or center, but everyone wants me inside."
