Trip Report - Patrick Enewally

One of the top defensive backs on Washington's recruiting board, Gahr (Cerritos, Ca.) DB Patrick Enewally, took a trip to Montlake over the weekend and said he had a great time while he was in the Emerald City. Now that he's home, he told he'll think about things and hopes to make a decision sometime before the end of the year...

"Oh I loved it," Enewally said when asked about his trip to Seattle. "It was a great time. I got to hang out with a couple of friends and my former teammate, Dwayne Washington, was my host so it was a really good time.

"It really couldn't have gone better for me. I saw the facilities and they are going to be amazing. They already have great facilities and then when you realize that it's just going to get bigger and better, it's pretty cool."

Because he had such a great time, it was tough for Enewally to come up with a favorite aspect of the trip, but he said spending time with the other players was a big thing for him.

"I think, if I had to choose just one thing, it was just fitting in with the other guys," Enewally said. "I got to spend time with my friend, Troy Williams and that was a lot of fun. He recruited me a little bit, but he wasn't pressuring me or anything.

"I also got to spend time with Shaq (Thompson) and some other guys I'm good friends with, Dwayne and Josh (Perkins), so it was just great to get there and feel like you fit in well."

As far as his decision is concerned, Enewally said that he plans to make a commitment before the calendar changes over to 2013.

"I'm definitely going to make it by the end of the year," Enewally said. "It's basically going to be between Washington and Boise State.

"These two visits have really answered my questions about things and I feel like I know enough about the programs to make the right decision for me and where I want to play and go to school.

"I might make my decision in time to commit at the Cal State (All Star) Game (December 22nd), but I'm not really sure yet."

We will continue to keep track of Enewally and will update news as it happens with him.
