Noller talks trips, interest in Dawgs

Windsor (Co.) OL Trenton Noller is one of the top pivots in the country this year and he's already go three offers to his name. One school that hasn't offered yet is Washington, but that hasn't kept "Tiny", as he's known to friends and teammates, from showing the Dawgs some serious interest. Last month he was in Seattle to take in a practice and Dawgman.com got the scoop on how that trip went...

"It was a great visit. I had a lot of fun," Noller told Dawgman.com. "My dad and I got to go up there and see them work out and practice. It was pretty fun watching them go through things because it reminded me a lot of my practices with my team.

"They really get after it and I love the way coach (Dan) Cozzetto teaches. He expects a lot from his guys and he gets after them and that's something we are used to along the offensive line. The coaches always get after us."

The Huskies haven't offered yet, but they have been showing him a lot of interest and he said he's just being patient with the process.

"Well, they got Dane Crane in the last class and when I talked to the coaches they basically said they liked me a lot, but they needed to see where guys fit because he plays the same spot," Noller said. "They want to see who can play guard and who can only play center and then they'll make a decision, so it will probably be a little while."

Besides his interest in Washington, Noller also has offers from Northern Colorado, Arizona and Wyoming and he's also visited Kansas State and will take a trip to Vanderbilt this spring as well.

"Things have been going pretty well for me," Noller said. "I have three offers and I've got a few other schools really interested in me, so I don't need to rush this at all. I want to see the schools, talk to the coaches and then sorta see where the process goes and I'll make my decision after I've seen what I need to see and heard what I need to hear."

Noller is unsure of his camp schedule at this point, but said he and his father will start to map that out in the near future.
