Video: Mike Neighbors Introduction

SEATTLE - New Washington Women's Basketball Coach Mike Neighbors attacked his first press conference with a blend of enthusiasm, humor, and thanks as he talked about taking over for departed head coach Kevin McGuff, recruiting and 'momentum'.

Only a week after they were all given their outright releases, Neighbors and his coaching staff - the same one retained by McGuff aided by the addition of former Tulsa assistant Fred Castro - were able to re-sign all three 2013 recruits: PG Kelsey Plum, G Brianna Ruiz, and F Chantel Oshahor, as well as the rest of the existing team. No one is transferring out.

Below is the full video of Neighbors' press conference, along with Washington Athletic Director Scott Woodward - as well as a quick interview with ProspectsNation.com's Chris Hansen, who talks about Neighbors' potential impact in the wake of McGuff's departure, as well as what Husky fans should expect from the three 2013 signees - as well as a few names to look for in 2014.
