UW Announces Non-Conference Schedule

SEATTLE -- The Washington Men's Basketball team will play nine home games – including a Dec. 22 battle with Connecticut – two neutral site road games and two true road contests as part of its 2013-14 non-conference schedule, Coach Lorenzo Romar announced on Wednesday.

Connecticut, a member of the newly formed American Athletic Conference, will travel to Seattle Sunday, Dec. 22 for the second leg of a home-and-home series between the two schools. It will mark the fifth meeting between the two institutions, but could become the sixth if the two teams meet in the second day of the 19th annual 2K Sports Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project at Madison Square Garden.

Washington will meet Indiana in the first day of the championship rounds at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, Nov. 21. The winner/loser will play UConn or Boston College.
