Husky Commit Updates - Week 3

Last week, one of Washington's eight commits and his teammates got their first victory of the season. Here's a look at how Summit (Fontana, Ca.) WR Erik Brown contributed in his team's big win and how the other seven looked as their seasons continue to progress toward the end of the first month of their senior years...

Summit (Fontana, Ca.) WR Erik Brown - In Summit's 24-17 win over Miller, their first of the season, Brown totaled seven receptions for 67 yards on offense while posting four tackles (two solo) and an interception, which he returned 43 yards for a touchdown, on defense.

Eastlake (Sammamish, Wa.) LB Drew Lewis - Eastlake got a huge win over rival Eastside Catholic (Sammamish) last week, downing the Crusaders 27-21. In the game, Lewis was held in check most of the night offensively, but he did score two touchdowns and had 35 yards rushing while also totaling three tackles on defense.

Season Stats: 16 car., 99 yards, 2 TDs; 3 rec., 100 yards, 1 TD; 9 tackles, 1 tackle-for-loss, 1 forced fumble

Coeur d'Alene (Id.) TE Chase Blakley - Blakley was limited to just three receptions for 28 yards while posting six tackles and two sacks on defense as Coeur d'Alene fell to 1-2 with a 38-23 loss to Skyline (Sammamish, Wa.)

McClymonds (Oakland, Ca.) DB Lavon Washington - Washington had a great game for the Warriors, hauling in five receptions for 98 yards including a 48-yard touchdown reception and he returned a kickoff 93 yards to (Modesto, Ca.) Central Catholic's five to set up another score, but McClymonds still dropped to 2-1 on the season, losing to Central Catholic 38-24. On defense, the senior had eight tackles and two passes defensed.

Cabrillo (Long Beach, Ca.) WR Rahshead Johnson - Another week, another frustrating loss for Johnson and his Cabrillo teammates, as the Panthers dropped to 0-3 with a 27-26 loss to Villa Park (Ca.). In the game, Johnson had eight receptions for 71 yards on offense and six tackles (four solo) and an interception on defense.

Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Ca.) DB Jonathan Lockett - In Mater Dei's 33-0 win over Carson last week, Lockett had three receptions for 30 yards on offense and four tackles and one pass defensed on defense.
