Trip Report - Andrew Mike

This weekend, the Huskies didn't just play host to Washington State, they also had a couple of official visitors in town. One, Sabino (Tucson, Az.) OT Andrew Mike, spoke with after returning home and he updated us on things including what trips he has scheduled and what impressed him most while he was in Seattle...

"Oh it was a great visit; outstanding," Mike told "The atmosphere they have there is great. I loved it. I had a great time.

"The facilities were top notch. It's really a first class program and I really enjoyed every minute I was there."

Since he was the only offensive lineman on campus, Mike didn't have just one host, he had the entire offensive line.

"We all sorta just hung out together and got to know each other," Mike said. "The family feel there is great. Those guys treat each other like family and I liked that a lot."

Mike said he spent time with the coaches and got a look at how they run things and also got an idea of where Washington wants him to play.

"They are definitely recruiting me at tackle, but I will play anywhere they need me to," Mike said.

As far as other visits, Mike noted he's set up visits to both Arizona (December 13th - 15th) and Vanderbilt (January 17th - 19th) and once those are completed, he will sit down with his family to make his decision.

"It's a big decision. It's tough because there are so many great things about all of the programs, so I wanted to see all of my favorites before I decide," Mike noted. "After my trips, I will sit down with my family and make my decision. I'll hopefully be done before Signing Day, but I don't know exactly when I will make my decision."

We will have more on Mike in the coming weeks as he gets closer to making a decision.
