Washington Commit Stats - Week 3

Washington currently has 13 players committed for the 2015 class and several are getting close to the midway point of their senior seasons. One of them, QB Jake Browning, set yet another California state record this past weekend. Here's a look at how last week went for him as well as the rest of the Husky commits...

Folsom (Ca.) QB Jake Browning - Browning broke the California state record for career touchdowns (146) when he threw for 532 yards and seven touchdowns, along with an interception, in Folsom’s 56-6 win over Pleasant Grove.

Highland (Pocatello, Id.) LB Kyler Manu - Over the past two weeks, Highland has not surrendered a point to their opponents and Manu and the rest of the starters have got little in the way of playing time. Last week, the Rams blew out Century (Pocatello, Id.) by a score of 42-0. Waiting on stats.

Oceanside (Ca.) CB Jordan Miller - The Pirates got to 3-0 on the season with a 24-0 win over Chaparral (Temecula, Ca.). Waiting on stats.

Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Ca.) WR Isaiah Renfro - In the Trailblazers’ 38-19 win over Taft (Woodland Hill, Ca.), Renfro carried the ball twice for 12 yards, hauled in six receptions for 141 yards and a touchdown and also had two tackles and a pass breakup.

Etiwanda (Ca.) TE/WR Mike Neal - The Eagles dropped to 1-1-1 on the season with a heart-breaking 31-28 loss to Norco. Waiting on stats.

Servite (Anaheim, Ca.) LS A.J. Carty - The Friars downed La Mirada (Ca.) 56-14.

Beaverton (Or.) OL Jared Hilbers - Beaverton dropped their game with Tigard by a score of 45-27, but the Beavers’ offense still managed to roll up over 450 yards of total offense including close to 200 on the ground.

Westlake (Westlake Village, Ca.) WR Andre Baccellia - Out with an injury. Expected to return to action the final week of September.

Bellevue (Wa.) OL Henry Roberts - The six-time defending state champions won their state-record 56th game in a row, manhandling Alta (Sandy, Ut.) 45-0, rolling up over 250 yards in the first half before they subbed all of the starters.

O’Dea (Seattle, Wa.) RB Myles Gaskin - Gaskin only got six carries, but he still managed to post 129 yards and three scores (16, 30, 30) in the Irish’s 35-7 win over Mariner (Everett, Wa.).

Wenatchee ( Wa.) OL Trey Adams - Wenatchee fell to 1-1 on the season with a 42-7 blowout loss to defending state champion Chiawana.

Milpitas (Ca.) DL Jason Scrempos - In his team’s 54-7 win over Newark (Ca.) Memorial, Scrempos posted six tackles (three solo) and he also had a reception for 40 yards.

Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, Ca.) LB Ben Burr-Kirven - Out with an injury. Expected to return to action the first week of October.

Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, Nv.) QB Tate Martell (2017) - The Gaels got to 4-0 on the season with a 43-42 win over Centennial (Corona, Ca.) last week and Martell had another big game completing 12 of his 23 attempts for 269 yards with three touchdowns and an interception. He also had 45 yards rushing as well.

Eastside Catholic (Sammamish, Wa.) RB/LB Brandon Wellington (2016) - The Crusaders blew out an outmatched Enumclaw squad 44-0 and Wellington got little in the way of reps. He posted just one tackle and no offensive statistics in the win.
