Washington Commit Stats - Week 5

Several of Washington's commits had solid games last week including Oceanside (Ca.) CB Jordan Miller (pictured above) who opposing quarterbacks are staying away from on a week-to-week basis...

Oceanside (Ca.) CB Jordan Miller - The undefeated Pirates remained that way with a 42-10 win over Rancho Buena Vista. Miller has been frustrated by his lack of opportunities as none of his team’s opponents will throw his way, but he did manage to post two tackles on the night.

Season Stats: 12 tackles, 5 PBU, 2 INTs

O’Dea (Seattle, Wa.) RB Myles Gaskin - The Irish blew out rival Seattle Prep by a score of 47-0, so the starters were pulled early. Even so, Gaskin still accounted for 83 yards rushing and two touchdowns on six carries while also posting one reception for 54 yards and a score and he also had his third punt return for a touchdown.

Season Stats: 574 yards, 8 TDs; 8 PR, 3 TDs (long 65)

Folsom (Ca.) QB Jake Browning - In Folsom’s 63-0 win over Granite Bay, Browning was a modest, for him at least, 14 of 22 for 314 yards with five touchdowns. He also rushed for 15 yards on three carries.

Season Stats: 115 for 162 (71%), 2,021 yards, 32 TDs, 1 INT

Highland (Pocatello, Id.) LB Kyler Manu - The Indians got to 3-2 on the season with a 26-22 win over Preston last weekend and Manu led the way with 11 tackles.

Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Ca.) WR Isaiah Renfro - The Trailblazers had a bye last week, but the week before, Renfro posted nine receptions for 192 yards and a touchdown in a 42-13 win over Agoura.

Etiwanda (Ca.) TE/WR Mike Neal - Neal has not put up stats in the past couple of weeks. Etiwanda lost a heart-breaker to Heritage 15-14.

Servite (Anaheim, Ca.) LS A.J. Carty - Servite last a hard-fought game to De La Salle 47-24 and are now 3-2 on the season.

Beaverton (Or.) OL Jared Hilbers - Beaverton got blown out by a score of 81-42 at the hands of Westview (Portland, Or.), falling to 2-2 on the season.

Westlake (Westlake Village, Ca.) WR Andre Baccellia - Out with an injury. Expected to return to action in the next few weeks.

Bellevue (Wa.) OL Henry Roberts - The starters didn’t play much in Bellevue’s 42-6 win over Sammamish. They did manage to rush for 226 yards and four scores in the first half and Roberts was a big contributor to that effort.

Wenatchee ( Wa.) OL Trey Adams - The Panthers got to 3-1 on the season with a 19-12 win over Davis last weekend.

Milpitas (Ca.) DL Jason Scrempos - Scrempos pitched in with seven tackles (five solo) as well as a reception for 64 yards and a touchdown as the Trojans got a 27-3 win over Homestead last week.
