Pounds committed to Washington in front of friends and family at his school on Wednesday night.

Pounds visited Washington back in September and enjoyed his time on campus eventually narrowing his list to Washington, Utah, Colorado and Boise State.

So far this season, Pounds, who will play defensive back at Washington, has hauled in 28 receptions for 526 yards and eight touchdowns, rushed for 427 yards and five touchdowns while grabbing five interceptions on defense and five touchdowns on punt and kick returns as well.

"I do whatever my team needs me to do," Pounds told Dawgman during the summer. "I just love to play and compete and I love to have the ball in my hands."

Pounds is the 16th known commitment to Washington and the second play who is projected by the coaching staff to play in the secondary.

Dawgman.com will continue to follow this story and hope to speak with Pounds soon to get his thoughts on the decision.
