It's Huskies Versus Cowboys In Cactus Bowl

It's a done deal! The Washington Huskies (8-5) will play the Oklahoma State Cowboys (6-6) in the TicketCity Cactus Bowl January 2nd at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Ariz.

The Huskies (8-5 overall and 4-5 in the Pac-12) will be playing in a fifth different bowl in the last five years and will be making its first appearance in the Cactus Bowl, formerly known as the Bowl, the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl and the Copper Bowl, among others.

Oklahoma State (6-6 overall, 4-5 in the Big 12) qualified for the game with its overtime victory over Oklahoma Saturday. Washington has faced the Cowboys just twice in the two programs' histories with each team winning once. In 1980, the Huskies won 24-18 in Stillwater. In the 1985 season opener, OSU beat the UW, 31-17, at Husky Stadium.
