McCoy Flips from UA to UW

Ricky McCoy, a 6-foot-4, 275-pound athlete from Roosevelt High School in Fresno, Calif., made his flip from Arizona to Washington official Monday morning with a simple tweet. "I Ricky McCoy announce my big flip from Az to The Univeristy of Washington, great staff and program and great opportunities." #woof And with that, the Huskies picked up their third verbal commit for 2015 in two days.

We'll have more on McCoy's commitment - the 19th for Washington's 2015 class, although Jake Browning and Kyler Manu will count toward UW's 2014 class - after school when we can reach him. McCoy is rated three stars by Scout.com, their 47th-best defensive tackle in the country. He originally was committed to Arizona, a commitment he made to the Wildcats back at the end of March, but then opened his recruitment back up after scheduling a visit to Washington back in early September.
