Huskies Add In-State 2016 Commit

The Huskies got some good news heading into the weekend when Sehome (Bellingham, Wa.) LB/S Taylor Rapp decided to become the second in-state prospect to commit to Washington's 2016 recruiting class...

"Yep, I committed," was the text response from Rapp shortly after making his decision.

Rapp made his commitment while he was on an unofficial visit to Washington today.

In addition to his offer from the Huskies, Rapp also had offers from the likes of Stanford, which offered earlier this week, Oregon, Boise State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Washington State and Notre Dame among others.

As a junior this past season, Rapp finished with 112 tackles and three interceptions from his safety spot on defense while racking up over 1,147 total yards on offense with nine touchdowns as a tailback and receiver on offense.

Rapp becomes the second in-state player to commit to Washington so far this year, joining Eastside Catholic (Sammamish, Wa.) ATH Brandon Wellington who committed to Washington last summer.

Check back with for more information, including quotes from Rapp, later this evening. Top Stories
