Huskies Offer Cali Three-Star Tailback

On Monday, the Huskies offered Westlake (Ca.) RB Chase Jasmin. The shifty tailback prospect already has a teammate headed up to Montlake to play ball for the Dawgs and he said he plans to head up to Seattle to check things out this spring...

"Washington offered me (last night)," Jasmin told "Coach (Brent) Pease is the coach recruiting me for them and they offered me as a running back but said they liked me for their special teams too."

In addition to his newest offer, Jasmin also has full rides from the likes of Arizona, Washington State, Nevada and Wyoming.

"I'm looking to come up to Washington soon, most likely this spring," Jasmin said. "I am also hoping to visit Arizona, Washington State, Nevada and Wyoming, but I haven't set up any dates yet for those."

Jasmin already knows one player very well that will be a Husky this fall, his friend and teammate, Andre Baccellia.

"Andre and I are really close," Jasmin noted. "It's definitely something that I will think about. It would be awesome going somewhere I know somebody already."

Jasmin said he hopes to make his decision before his senior season, although that time frame isn't set in stone.

As a junior this past season, Jasmin carried the ball 157 times for 1,413 yards and 13 touchdowns while grabbing nine passes for 54 yards and another score. Top Stories
