DawgmanRadio: Battle In Seattle

BELLEVUE, Wash. - It's that time again - time for summer football camps and 7-7 tournaments to reign supreme. This Memorial Day Sunday it was the Battle of Seattle, a 7-7 Tournament put on by Barton Football Academy and Northwest Elite Index, and Chris Fetters and Scott Eklund of Dawgman.com were joined by Scout.com National Director of Scouting, Brandon Huffman, to check things out.

The tournament pitted some of the elite 'renegade' teams - squads of top individual players brought together specifically for 7-7 events like the Battle In Seattle - against regular high school teams like Gig Harbor and Prosser. And just like last year, the Tides took home the title.

In this 14-minute podcast, Fetters, Eklund and Huffman talk about the event and who stood out. There was a lot of top talent, starting with Lake Stevens QB Jacob Eason, as well as Abbotsford, BC standout receiver Chase Claypool. To listen to the full podcast, click on the link below.
