"It was a great visit," Eifler said of he and his family's 24 hours in Seattle. "The last time I came up, it was just me and my mom, so I wanted to get my dad up there to check it out too.
"This time both of them came up with me, so my dad got to meet with the coaches, especially coach (Chris) Petersen and coach (Bob) Gregory, and he also got to see the campus and the school and the facilities.
"I also got to hang out with my boy Kevin King and Shaq Thompson was also there working out, so I got to catch up with him and talk with him for a few minutes too."
So, did Mr. Eifler give his seal of approval?
"Oh yeah, he loved it," Eifler noted. "If I decide to go there, he said he feels really good about what Washington has to offer me and the coaches that I will have there."
As far as his decision timeline, Eifler knows when he will make his announcement although no date has been set at this point in time.
"It will be sometime in August, before my senior season, so that I can just focus on that and then get ready to go to college," Eifler noted.
Washington along with California, Michigan, Oregon, Texas A&M and UCLA were named in Eifler's top six late last week and he said he's planning to see every one of those programs one more time before he settles down for the summer to mull over his decision.
