"I was surprised (Washington offered), but I am very excited about it," Sirmon said. "They said that they liked how I moved and they have heard good things about the kind of guy I am and think I can develop into a good player, but I need to continue to work hard."
The Huskies offered Sirmon, whose father Peter was the linebackers coach at UW in 2013 and 2014, as a linebacker.
In addition to Washington, Sirmon has also been hearing from USC and UCLA.
While he's a budding star on the football field, Sirmon is also considered a very good lacrosse player as well.
