The Opening SPARQ Finals - Sean McGrew

BEAVERTON, Ore. - Sean McGrew, a 5-foot-7, 172-pound running back/athlete from St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, Calif., made the finals of the national SPARQ competition, held Wednesday during The Opening at Nike World Headquarters. SPARQ stands for Speed, Power, Agility, Reaction and Quickness - and tests are done to determine who the best athlete is based on those five criteria.

Sean McGrew, who is verbally committed to Washington, made it to the finals of the SPARQ Championship based on a 132.06 performance earlier in the day, a number that included a 4.38 40-yard dash and 3.95 20-yard shuttle time.
