OL Kyle Williams Update

Kyle Williams is one of the hottest offensive line prospects in the country. Standing 6-6 and weighing 270 pounds, Williams is the anchor on the line for Highland Park High School.

When we called him he was just finishing up big plate of dinner. "Steak mixed in with Spaghetti. It's a lot of food," said Williams.

Williams was not home a good portion of the weekend so he missed a lot of the phone calls that came his way, but he was able to talk with coaches from Oklahoma and Washington. The rest all left phone messages.

Coach Myers called Williams from Seattle for the Huskies. "We talked about how my team is doing and about football," said Williams.

"Our team is really doing great. Our first real game is this weekend against Coppel."

If there was any doubt as to what colleges think of Williams' potential at the next level, it disappeared in a heartbeat. "I have scholarship offers from Oklahoma, UW, USC, UCLA, Cal, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Colorado, West Virginia, Clemson, WSU, and a few others," said Williams.

He has yet to set up any visits, but knows of three schools that he definitely wants to see in person. "I'll visit USC, Washington, and Notre Dame for sure."

His father will attend the UW vs. Michigan game on Saturday.

Kyle is a ways away from a decision at this point and says that he'll take his time.
