VIDEO: Washington Cornerback Kevin King talks to the media post-game after Huskies' 49-0 win over Sacramento State

Washington Cornerback Kevin King talks to the media post-game after the Huskies defeated Sacramento State 49-0 Saturday at Husky Stadium. King came up with his second interception in as many games to help preserve the shutout.

On his interception and his fourth down stop “On the first drive I had a missed opportunity at an interception and I tried not to get down on myself about that. As a defensive player you’re going to have times where you get down. I just tried to keep my spirits up and just try to, when the next time happens, make sure I maximize the opportunity. That’s what I tried to do and I was blessed enough to make those plays.”

On the defense still playing at a high level even though they lost a lot of players from last year “We’re all pretty big on that. Not so much the talk of everybody, but this is a new unit from what it was last year. We just have to create our own image and what we’re going to be as that unit of 2015. These first two games I think we’ve done that so we just have to keep it moving.”
