CB Jarrad Page update

Jarrad Page will draw plenty of attention on the football field and the baseball diamond this year in San Leandro, California. He is being actively recruited for both sports and most of the Pac-10 has offered him a scholarship already.

Page had an outstanding year in baseball, leading his team all the way to the regional championships before losing in the championship game. Page was named the state tournament MVP, and two weeks ago he played in the prestigious California Showcase game.

On the football recruiting front, the 6-0 175-pound cornerback received plenty of phone calls this week. "My phone was ringing early on Saturday. Oregon, USC, UCLA, Washington, WSU, Colorado, Fresno State, Oregon State, Arizona State and California all called," said Page.

Washington, WSU, COLORADO, OREGON, OSU, UCLA, ARIZONA, and California have offered Page a scholarship.

He is just now deciding where he'll take his visits. "I want to check out ASU for sure. I want to visit UCLA, Washington, and Oregon too."

Page will double sport in college, also playing baseball. That could rule out Oregon, who has no baseball program.

He attended the USC vs. Kansas State game this past weekend as a guest of the Trojans.
