"Coach (Jimmy) Lake called me and offered," Keith Taylor informed Dawgman.com. "It's exciting. He really wants me to come there. He said they're highly interested."
A big reason for Washington's interest was Taylor's style of play.
"They like how physical I am and how aggressive I am," Taylor noted.
The talented junior hopes to visit Washington and has targeted the Huskies' game with Utah the first weekend of November.
"I am working on the date with my parents right now, but it looks like it will be November 7th when they play Utah," Taylor said. "It'll be excited to get up there and see things first hand and also get to see a good game."
Washington is the second program to offer Taylor, joining the one he already had from San Jose State.
"The other schools talking to me the most right now are Colorado, Utah and Cal," Taylor said. "Notre Dame, Oregon, Arizona and Arizona State have all been talking to me too."
Dawgman.com will have more on Taylor after he visits Montlake early next month.
