VIDEO: Washington MIK Azeem Victor Post-Game - Stanford Cardinal's Kim Grinolds spoke with Washington sophomore middle linebacker Azeem Victor after the Huskies suffered their fourth loss of the season, 31-14 to the Stanford Cardinal.

On the Stanford offensive line “They’re a good group. They’re big, they’re athletic, and they did a good job of penetrating us and did a good job of getting in the way and getting some good runs in.”

On if that’s the biggest line he’s ever played against “Yeah.”

On what it’s like when Stanford brings in extra lineman “I mean, we prepared for it all week. The biggest thing was getting off blocks and we had to do a better job of that.”

On if it was frustrating playing seemingly well on defense while still giving up about five hundred yards “It’s very frustrating, especially with our defense. We take pride in it. We just have to do a better job. (Christian) McCaffrey is a good running back. We just have to do a better job.”

On the offense running only 45 plays and was without Jake Browning “ When one man goes down, the next man steps up. He just had to get acclimated. That’s about it.”

On if he enjoys playing the physical brand of football Stanford plays “I mean it is always fun being out there. It wasn’t fun tonightbecause we didn’t get the outcome that we wanted. It’s on to next week now.” Top Stories
