VIDEO: Washington Running Back Dwayne Washington Post-Game - Arizona Wildcats spoke post-game with junior running back Dwayne Washington, who had two touchdowns and 126 yards of total offense to help the Washington Huskies defeat the Arizona Wildcats 49-3 Saturday night at Husky Stadium.

On how it feels to be back “It feels good, just to be back in the end zone, it feels good, obviously. I thought we played a good game today. The offense was moving. The defense was getting turnovers, which was great.”

On which receiver made room for his long touchdown run “Probablty Jaydon (Mickens). Who knows? Yeah, there was space and I just took it around.”

On the frustration of taking a smaller role than he has in the past “I don’t really focus on that. I just every game and every practice one at a time and all of the reps that I get, if the ball comes my way, I just stay focused and do what I can do.”

On how much this game adds to his confidence “Really the coaches confidence. I’m just trying to build confidence as we go. Game-by-game just build confidence so that they trust me with the ball in my hand.” Top Stories
