"Righ now I have offers from Wyoming, San Diego State and Eastern Washington," Jordan Chin told Dawgman.com. "I talked to UCLA before the season, but that has sorta fallen off, but Washington started talking to me about a week ago and they have picked things up with me."
The main coach recruiting Chin for the Huskies is wide receivers coach Brent Pease.
"He and I have started to get to know each other pretty well and we talk about a lot of different things," Chin said. "As far as football, he said he really likes my speed and he needs more players like me in the offense.
"He said he and all of the other coahes liked my film and they are going through the evaluation process with me. They got my transcripts and we are talking about a visit, but I need to get my SAT taken (December 6th) before they will trip me up there.
Chin has good size, body control and hands and he uses his 4.49 speed to make plays down the field.
As a senior this season, Chin helped led his team to a 7-4 record by hauling in over 40 receptions for 625 yards and five touchdowns.
Now he'll turn his attention toward recruiting and track before he enrolls in a school this coming summer.
"I will visit Wyoming on December 11 and Eastern Washington on January 9th," Chin said. "I'm planning to visit San Diego State sometime in January, but I haven't set that one up yet.
"I'm just being patient and making sure I make the right decision for me."
As far as which school he will wind up choosing, Chin has some ideas of what he'll be looking for in the school/program he chooses.
"The biggest thing is the education," Chin said. "I won't be able to play football forever and I need to make sure the school I choose will set me up for the rest of my life with the education I get.
"The other thing is my relationship with the coaches and how I comfortable I feel with them."
Dawgman.com will continue to keep track of Chin as he works his way through the recruiting process and we will update news on him as it happens.
