VIDEO: Washington Running Back Myles Gaskin Post-Game - Oregon State Beavers's Kim Grinolds spoke post-game with Washington running back Myles Gaskin, who had 127 yards on 23 carries as the Huskies rolled over Oregon State 52-7 Saturday in Corvallis. Gaskin now has 983 total rushing yards on the season.

On the upcoming matchup against the Cougars “Great team. They’ve had a great season. We just have to step our game up for those guys. They’ve had a great season so far so we just have to bring it. Everything on the line.”

On where he thinks the offense is “We’re up and down. I think we’re eliminating more downs each week. I think every week we’ve gotten better, which is most important. Today was one of those days where you kind of put everything together. The main thing is being consistent and seeing if we can do it next week.”

On what clicked offensively “I think spreading the ball around actually. A nice balance between run and pass and getting the receivers involved, throwing the ball; Jake (Browning) having a great game like he did. Just getting everybody involved. I think that helped because their defense couldn’t really focus in on one thing to stop. They played a great game. We just executed really.”

On the difference between the OSU defense he saw on film and the OSU defense he saw on the field “Execution, practice. We knew that this week was a big week and we had to be precise in everything. No ‘my bad’ or none of that. There’s no room for that. I think that’s what we did today.”

On if Deontae Cooper and Dwayne Washington told him this was a good place to have a big day running “Yeah. I saw the highlights of that game. Was that two years ago or last year? But yeah, it was a fun game.” Top Stories
