2016 Corona (Ca.) Centennial CB Kentrell Love talks about where things stand on the recruiting front following his official visit to UCLA

With a little over two weeks until Signing Day, things are getting tense on the recruiting trail and Corona (Ca.) Centennial CB Kentrell Love's official visit to UCLA last weekend didn't settle any nerves, at least as far as Husky nation is concerned. So where do things stand with the four-star recruit? Read on the find out...

"I had a great time; we all pretty much had a good time," Love told Dawgman.com of his visit to UCLA. "My family enjoyed themselves and so did I. They showed me a great time there and the coaches were all really cool about things."

Even though he enjoyed his time with the Bruins, he said he's still solidly committed to Washington.

"I've never wavered honestly," Love said. "I've always known where I wanted to go, but I also felt like I should at least see what else is out there for me and my parents were encouraging me to take this visit just to make sure.

"We came home after the visit and we all pretty much just knew that it was a great place and a great school, but Washington is a better fit for me.

"I love it up there and I really like what the coaches are building there. I also have a great relationship with coach (Jimmy) Lake and that is another big reason why I want to be there and be part of what is happening there."

Love will visit Washington this weekend and his family will join him.

"They have no problem with me going up there to go to school and they are excited for me," Love said. "I've been sold on Washington for a long time and I feel in my heart that they will take care of me up there."

As a senior this past season, Love finished with 51 tackles, four interceptions and six pass breakups.

We will have more from Love after his official visit to Montlake this weekend.
