2016 Chaminade College Prep (West Hills, Ca.) WR Jordan Chin talks about his recent offer from the Huskies and his visit plans this weekend

Washington, in its search to find a second wideout for the 2016 class, has turned to current San Diego State commit Jordan Chin and the talented wideout will be on campus this weekend for his official visit...

"The coaches just came by and left a little while ago," an excited Chin told Dawgman.com. "They offered me a scholarship and I'm taking an official visit up there this weekend, but since I have to take my SATs on Saturday morning, I won't fly up until Saturday afternoon and then I will leave on Monday."

Chin remains committed to San Diego State, but he said that may change after he takes his official visit this weekend.

"This has been a dream of mine (to get an offer from Washington) for a long time," Chin said. "My parents are just as excited as I am and it's the only visit they are going to go on."

Wednesday night was the first time that Chin was able to meet new Husky wide receivers coach Bush Hamden.

"We hadn't even really talked at all, so it was good to really get to know him and meet him," Chin said. "He and coach (Jonathan) Smith got to meet with my parents too and they showed me a little video on the program there and what they are all about."

In addition to his latest offer from the Huskies and the one he had from San Diego State, Chin also has offers from Eastern Washington and Wyoming.

As a senior this past season, Chin had 37 receptions for 601 yards and five touchdowns, leading his team in all three categories, while helping to lead his squad to a 7-4 record.

Dawgman.com will have more on Chin after his official visit has concluded.
