Kamari Pleasant is ranked by Scout.com as the No. 86 safety in the country, and No. 14 player in the state of California. He originally verbally committed to Arizona State on Christmas Day, but later de-committed on January 19th after taking an official visit to Washington the prior weekend.
"My interest in Washington is pretty high," said Pleasant after his official visit to Montlake. "I've been waiting for them to offer me for a pretty long time. I felt like taking an official (visit) wouldn't hurt, keeping my options open."
The Huskies took a player from Etiwanda last year in tight end Mike Neal, and former Husky running back Chris Singleton is also from there.
We’ll have more from Pleasant on his decision to commit to the Huskies. Below is his senior highlight tape.
