St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Ca.) WR Terrell Bynum talks about his interest in Washington and when he plans to visit Montlake again

It's already been a busy offseason for 2017 St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Ca.) WR Terrell Bynum and things will pick up even more in the near future as the top-rated California wideout makes some plans to visit a couple of his top suitors...

"Things have been really good, but they are busy for sure," Bynum told "I'm working on making plans to visit Stanford and Washington here pretty soon and with Michigan offering, I'm looking at scheduling a trip up there with Wyatt (Davis) to check them out too."

Washington is a school that offered Bynum back in the fall and they have been a consistent favorite of Bynum's while he's continued to build a solid relationship with new Husky receivers coach Bush Hamdan.

"I finally talked to him back at the end of December and it was good to get to talk to him," Bynum said. "He seems like a good dude and I can't wait to meet him in person.

"I talk to the coaches (at Washington) at least three or four times a week. They have shown me how much they want me and really made me feel like I am a priority for them.

"I really like the coaches there a lot and I like the way they use their wide receivers. You can play inside or outside for them depending on the set and stuff like that, so you can be used in a lot of different ways."

Bynum transferred from Servite to St. John Bosco shortly after the first of the year, so he already knows a Husky commit.

"Keith (Taylor) committed there and it really won't have much of an effect on my decision," Bynum said. "I mean, I was already really high on Washington before he committed, so it would be great to play with him, but him being there won't be the reason why I choose Washington if I choose them."

Bynum said he hopes to make a decision this summer, although he's not completely sure when his decision will come, but he does know some of the things he'll be looking for when he does commit to a school.

"Definitely the education, but also how I fit overall," Bynum said. "I know there are a lot of good academic schools out there, but I just want to find one that will be a good fit for me and also how I fit with the coaches and the players and just the overall feel for things at the school."

We'll have more from Bynum in the coming weeks and months and we'll update news on him and his visit to Montlake when it happens.
