Trip Report - Braian Angola-Rodas caught up with Braian Angola-Rodas, a 6-foot-5 juco guard, after his official visit to Washington ended Tuesday morning.

“The visit went really, really well,” said Braian Angola-Rodas to “The campus was really nice. I got to play with the guys and it was awesome. It was great weather to come visit Seattle.”

Of course Angola-Rodas had to give a shout out to the food he had during his official visit. “Salty’s was great,” he said. “It was awesome. I had steak.”

How did open gym go? “Malik (Dime) was impressive,” Angola-Rodas said. “Matisse (Thybulle) did too. David (Crisp) … all of them are good guys and are good players.”

Angola-Rodas is a Real Madrid supporter, but enjoyed his time Monday morning hanging out with the Washington Basketball coaches and watching the Huskies’ spring football practice. “It was nice to watch the football practice the other day,” he said. “I’m used to the other kind of football. I actually went to the soccer practice too, talked to the soccer coach for a little while.”

Angola-Rodas confirmed to Dawgman that he will make his college decision official via his Twitter account Wednesday. “I don’t know what time, but I’ll do it tomorrow,” he said. “My top-five is Washington, Florida State, Houston, Utah, and Oregon.

“I don’t know yet what I’m going to do. I’m going to talk with my coach, go to a restaurant and have a nice dinner.” Top Stories
